Shradh Puja (Pitru Shradh & Tarpan)

Shradh Puja, also known as Pitru Shradh, is a sacred Hindu ritual performed to honor and pay homage to departed ancestors (Pitru Devatas). The ceremony is conducted to express gratitude, seek their blessings, and pray for the peace and liberation (Moksha) of their souls. It is traditionally performed during Pitru Paksha, on the annual death anniversary (Tithi), or on other auspicious occasions as prescribed in Hindu scriptures.
